Establishing our workspace on Diamond Harbour Road has been the focus for quite some time. Situated in Konchowki, Bhasa, the office is somewhat removed from the intense rush of central Kolkata. Life down in South 24 Parganas moves at a different pace entirely. Most of our hours at Ipsen Technologies are spent hunched over screens, trying to get various technical systems to behave. It isn't always smooth sailing. Occasionally the electricity flickers or the connection slows to a crawl, but we get through it. Local folks know where to find us. Just follow the main road past the crowded intersections until things start to thin out. The building isn't anything fancy, just a practical spot to get things done. People sometimes stop by when they have a tech problem they can't solve, and we do what we can to help. Sitting and troubleshooting is basically what the day looks like. During breaks, you can usually find us at the tea stall nearby. A corporate atmosphere isn't really our thing; we’re just a small group keeping busy. Over the years, we have watched more buildings sprout up along the road, yet our daily routine stays much the same. Summer afternoons get incredibly hot here. We just turn on the fans and keep working. That is the basic reality of our office life. Doing our part and keeping the lights on is what matters most to us.
