Hotel Mayur Residency

We are out here in Sahis Pur, near Gouripur in the Chakdaha area. It is a bit of a drive from the main town center, but that is how it is in Nadia district. Hotel Mayur Residency has been around for a while now. Most people find us when they are passing through this part of West Bengal. It is not a flashy place. We have the building set up with rooms that are basic but they do the job if you need a place to sleep for the night. The pin code is 741222 if you are looking for us on a map. Sometimes the roads get a bit dusty around here, especially in the summer months. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy and making sure the fans work. There is a lot of green around the village. It is quiet most nights, except for the occasional truck or tractor going by on the road. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who live nearby and help out with the check-ins and the cleaning. If you are coming from the railway station, you have to take a rickshaw or an auto. It takes about twenty minutes depending on the traffic. We just try to keep things simple and honest for whoever stops by. It is just a regular local spot, nothing more than that, and we like it that way.
