We’ve been here in Pabna Colony for a good while now. Chakdaha is one of those places where everyone knows everyone, and being part of the Nadia district keeps us busy enough. Our office is just a simple spot in the village area. It’s not fancy or anything, just a place where we get the work done every day. Most mornings start with the sounds of the neighborhood waking up. We try to keep things moving along without making too much of a fuss. People around here know where to find us if they need something. It’s usually quiet, except for when the local markets are in full swing. Being in West Bengal, we deal with the humidity and the rains just like everyone else. Sometimes the power goes out, but we manage. We aren’t a big corporation with shiny glass windows. We are just H.C.C Ltd, sitting right here in the colony. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the roads, but it’s home. We spend our hours doing what’s needed and then heading home like everyone else in the village. There isn’t a secret formula to what we do. We just show up and handle the tasks as they come. It’s a practical way to live and work. We don't have a big front desk or a lobby, just a desk and some chairs. That’s how we like it, honestly.
