You can find us in Kalyani at B-7/287. It’s a regular residential building, so it doesn't look like much from the outside. We use a couple of rooms on the ground floor for our work. Kalyani is a planned town, so it’s a bit more organized than the villages, but people still have plenty of problems they need help with. We chose the name because it felt right for what we wanted to do, which is basically just bringing a bit of a new start to people's lives. We spend our mornings answering the phone and talking to people who drop in. Most of the time we are dealing with basic stuff like helping someone figure out how to start a small shop or getting their kids the right books for school. We aren't a big organization with a lot of rules. We just sit down and talk like normal people. If we can help, we do. If we can't, we try to find someone who can. It’s a simple way to run things, but it keeps our overhead low. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy logo. We just have our address and our willingness to listen. It gets busy during the middle of the week, but we like the energy. We’re just local residents trying to make our town a slightly better place for everyone who lives here.
