Doctosure Foundation

If you are from around Sahapurhaldiapara, you might know Rajib Ali Biswas. This foundation is basically run out of his place here in Hanskhhali. We started this because getting to a proper doctor or finding the right medicine can be a real headache around here. It's not like the big cities where there is a hospital on every corner. We mostly spend our time trying to organize small health camps or helping neighbors figure out where to go when they get sick. It’s pretty quiet in our part of the world, but when someone falls ill, everyone gets worried. We aren't a huge organization with lots of money. Most of what we do is just talking to people and pointing them in the right direction. Sometimes we manage to get a doctor to visit for a day. We keep records in a small room and try to stay organized. It gets busy during the monsoon when people get fevers. We don't have fancy equipment, just a few chairs and some basic supplies. Our main goal is just making sure the people in the village don't feel left behind when it comes to health. It’s a simple setup. If you walk down the main road in Hanskhhali, you can find us easily enough. We’re just local people trying to help out our own community however we can with the little we have.
