We set up the shop here in 2 No. Gourango Colony, right on Koler Danga Road-19. It’s a small, simple place here in Nabadwip. We have a handful of computers lined up against the wall for people to use. Most days it’s kids from the neighborhood coming in to play games or students trying to get their school work finished. Sometimes people come in just to print out a government form or scan some documents for a new job application. The internet connection can be a bit temperamental sometimes, especially when the weather is bad, but we do what we can to keep it running. The room gets quite warm when all the machines have been on for a few hours, so we try to keep the fans going at full speed. It’s not a large space at all, but we manage to make it work for everyone. We’ve got some old plastic chairs that aren't exactly comfortable, but nobody really seems to mind much. We see the same faces every week, mostly just neighbors from around the colony. It’s nice to have a quick chat with them while they wait for a download or a print job to finally finish. We don’t stay open until midnight, but we’re here for most of the daylight hours. There's always something to fix, like a jammed printer or a keyboard that’s acting up. It’s just a basic place to get online when you need it.
