Bongiyo Exim Private Limited

We operate out of Bhairabchandrapur in Nadia. It’s a quiet place and our office is actually at Shyamal Choudhury’s house. Bongiyo Exim Private Limited is a small outfit. We deal with export and import, which might seem strange for a village location, but we make it work. Most of our work involves local goods and trying to find markets for them elsewhere. It isn't always easy because the internet out here can be very slow, especially during the monsoon season. We often have to walk to the main road just to get a decent signal on our phones. We don't have fancy office furniture or a reception area. It’s just a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. My uncle helps me with the accounting because the government paperwork is always changing and it’s hard to keep up. We know most of the truck drivers by their first names. They have to be careful driving the big vehicles through the narrow lanes to reach us. It’s a slow pace of life here, but we like it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to do honest business and help our local community get their products out. It’s a lot of hard work and late nights, but Nadia is where we belong.
