Barobhege Primary School

Barobhege Primary School is located right in the middle of the village. We are in the Nakashipara area, specifically in Debagram. To get here, you have to pass through Haranagar and follow the local roads. It is very much a rural setting. Most of our students are the children of local farmers and laborers. The school building is small, just a few rooms where we teach the younger kids. Being a primary school, it is always quite noisy with little ones running around. We are quite close to the local post office and the police station, so there is always some activity nearby. During the monsoon, the fields around us get very green, but the paths get quite muddy. We often have to help the smaller kids get inside without getting too dirty. We do not have a lot of resources, so we make do with what we have. The classrooms are simple with wooden benches and blackboards. We have a small area for the midday meal, which is an important part of the day for everyone. Most of us who work here live right in the village or the next one over. It is a very quiet life except for the sound of the children reciting their lessons. We have been here for many years, serving the local families in Barobhege as best as we can without making much of a fuss about it.
