Avirupa Nidhi Limited

Avirupa Nidhi Limited is located in Ramnagar, in the Halder Para neighborhood of Nadia. We operate from Bishwanath Das’s place. If you are familiar with the Chruitipi area, you know it’s a quiet place where people mostly mind their own business. We started this because we wanted a local spot for our friends and neighbors to manage their small bits of money. It’s much easier than going all the way into the bigger towns. The office is nothing special to look at. It’s just a room with some old wooden furniture and stacks of paper. We spend a lot of time writing in our books and making sure everything is in order. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with kids playing, but we don't mind it. It makes the day go by faster. We are just ordinary people who grew up in Nadia. We talk the same way as everyone else here and we don't put on any acts. People come in and we chat about the weather or the price of rice before we get down to the paperwork. It’s a very human way of doing things. We don't have any shiny brochures or big advertisements. Most people hear about us from their cousins or the guy at the tea shop. That’s enough for us. We are just happy to be here in Halder Para doing our part.
