Ashananda Nidhi Limited is over in Nadia, specifically in Chander Pole near Asannagar. We’re located at Tapan Kr. Mondal’s place. It’s a decent spot, though it gets a bit muddy when it rains. We’ve been operating here for a while now. It’s just a small office where a few of us sit and take care of the paperwork. We aren't interested in being some huge company. We like being small because we can actually talk to people. Sometimes the computer acts up or we run out of ink, but we manage. People from all over the Asannagar area come by. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here and people trust us to be open when we say we will. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a kettle for tea when it’s cold out. It’s a simple life running a place like this in Nadia. We try to be fair and just get the job done. If you walk past Chander Pole, you'll see us. It’s nothing too impressive to look at from the outside, but inside we’re always busy with something. We don't use those corporate scripts when we talk to people. We just say hello and see what they need. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s just a regular local business and we hope to stay that way for a long time. People around here know Tapan and they know we aren't going anywhere soon.
