AROHOON NIDHI LIMITED

Arohoon Nidhi Limited is based in Karimpur, specifically over at 88 Anandapally. It is a quiet residential part of the Nadia district. We chose this spot because it is easy for people in the neighborhood to reach without having to go all the way into the main town center. Our office is not very large, but it has everything we need to keep things running. There are stacks of folders and a couple of computers where we log everything. We spend a lot of time talking to members about their small savings and how they can manage their money better. It is not high-finance stuff, just everyday help for everyday people. The atmosphere in the office is pretty relaxed. We don't have a strict dress code or anything like that. Most days, it is just us and a few locals dropping by to make a deposit or check their balance. We live around here too, so we see our members at the market or on the street all the time. It makes the work feel a lot more grounded. We aren't a big bank with hundreds of branches. We are just a small Nidhi company in Karimpur trying to do a decent job for our community. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we manage. That’s just life in this part of West Bengal. We keep at it because people count on us to stay organized and honest.
