If you are driving down the Jwala Mukhi Road in Nadaun, you will see Sidhamtiles & Marbel right on the Main Road. It is a big space because tiles and marble take up a lot of room. There is always a layer of dust on things because of the cutting and moving of the stone, but that is just part of the job. We spend a lot of our day showing people the different patterns and weights of the slabs. Some of the marble is really heavy, so we have to be careful when we move it around the yard. It can be a long day, especially when we have a big shipment coming in from the trucks. The sun gets pretty hot out on the road, but we stay busy. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we sell. It is just good, solid material for floors and walls. Most of our neighbors know us well since we have been here on this stretch of road for a while. We have a small office where we do the bills, but most of the time we are out there with the stock. It’s a simple setup. We just want to make sure people get what they came for and that the slabs don't crack while we are loading them up. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time. The traffic on Jwala Mukhi Road can get pretty loud, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We just keep focusing on our inventory and getting the slabs ready.
