Jindal Photo Goods has its home right at Arya Samaj Chowk. If you’re from around here, you know how busy that intersection gets with the rickshaws and shoppers. We’ve been selling cameras and accessories and all sorts of photo supplies for a long time. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We have shelves full of tripods, lenses, and different kinds of frames. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but we try to keep the glass counters clean enough to see through. People come in with old cameras they found in a cupboard, asking if they still work. We enjoy talking about photography, though we aren't experts in every single new digital gadget that comes out. We just like the way a good picture looks. The bells on the door ring all day as people pop in for passport photos or to get a print made. We don't have a big website or a social media manager. It’s just us behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of stock on certain things, but we usually get it back in a few days. Arya Samaj Chowk is a good place to be because everyone passes through eventually. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a steady job and we like the people we meet.
