Jai Maa Bricks

If you head out on Nabha Road in the Patiala district, you’ll eventually see our sign. Jai Maa Bricks is situated right in the heart of the Nabha area. We’ve been operating here for a good number of years. The land is good for what we do, though the winters can get pretty cold and slow everything down. We have a solid crew of workers who have been with us through many seasons. Every day starts with checking the fire in the kiln. It's a constant cycle of molding, drying, and firing that never really stops unless the rain is pouring down. The road outside is always busy with tractors and trucks moving back and forth. Sometimes we sit under the shade of the neem tree near the gate and just watch the traffic while having tea. We handle our own deliveries mostly, using a couple of old trucks that have seen better days but still get the job done. The dust is a part of life here, settling on everything from the office desk to the leaves of the trees. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth in the tehsil is usually enough to keep the orders coming in. People know us as the place on the way to town. We just try to get the work done right and hope the coal prices don't go up too much this month. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown used to.
