Srs Bricks

We are over in Nabarangpur, right near the New Church. Srs Bricks has been here for a bit, and most people just use the church as a landmark to find our yard. It’s a lot of hard outdoor work, as you can probably imagine. We have rows and rows of bricks sitting out in the open air. The weather is the biggest thing we have to worry about every day. If it starts to rain, everything gets messy and the ground turns to soft mud. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the bricks and making sure the stacks are stable and won't fall over. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The sound of the church bells is often how we keep track of the time during the day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment around here, just the basic tools to move the bricks and load up the carts. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so it’s a very local crowd. We sit out front sometimes when it’s quiet and just watch the traffic go by the church. There is no big mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to get the orders filled correctly and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple business in a fairly quiet part of Nabarangpur. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, moving one brick at a time and waiting for the next truck to arrive.
