Prajapati Trading

Our business, Prajapati Trading, is located in the Muslim Estate area, which is near Umerkote in the Raigarh district. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t from this part of the country. The estate is a busy place with a lot of different activities going on at once. We have a decent-sized space where we keep our materials. It’s mostly just a big room with high ceilings and a lot of heavy stuff sitting on pallets. I spend most of my time coordinating with the drivers who bring things in from the bigger cities. Raigarh is a big district, so we have to think about travel times and fuel costs quite a lot. It’s a practical kind of business. We don’t have a website or a marketing team. We just talk to people face-to-face or over the phone. Most of the work is just keeping track of what’s coming in and what’s going out. The office is just a small desk in the corner with a few chairs for visitors. It gets quite hot in the summer months, so we usually take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its peak. It’s a hard way to earn a living, but we’ve been doing it for a long time. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized as we go along.
