Hychic Poultry Industries Private

Our poultry business is located in Panka, which is out by Umerkote in the Nabarangpur district. It’s a rural area, which is good for the birds. We have been here in Orissa for a while now. The work is mostly about checking the sheds and making sure the feed is right. It gets very loud when all the chickens are active. We don't have a fancy corporate office. It's just a simple building near the road. Sometimes the rain makes the path to the farm real muddy. We spend most of our time in boots and work clothes. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We handle everything from the young chicks to the full-grown ones. There’s always something to fix, like a leaky roof or a broken fence. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just raise poultry and try to keep the business going. The community around here is small, so everybody knows what everyone else is doing. We try to be good neighbors. It’s a lot of manual labor and not much rest. We started small and we’re still not very big, but we like it that way. It’s manageable. If you’re ever in Umerkote, you’ll likely pass our place on the way through. We're usually around from sunrise to sunset doing what needs to be done for the livestock.
