R. K. Ray & Co. is at 14 Harisabha Road, specifically in the 3rd Lane. It is one of those narrow lanes where everyone knows their neighbors. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside. You walk in and it feels like a place that has seen a lot of years go by. There are wooden cabinets filled with papers and a few old calendars hanging on the walls. We do not have a big staff so it is usually pretty quiet unless a few visitors show up at once. The light coming in through the small windows is often enough for us to work by. We spend our hours going through the daily paperwork and making sure the numbers match up. There is no marketing team or anyone trying to sell you things here. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes we share a pot of tea while discussing what needs to be finished before the weekend. The 3rd Lane can get a bit crowded with parked scooters and people walking their dogs. It feels like a real community and we are just another part of it. We do not try to act bigger than we are.
