About Zabi Handicraft Exporters – Art & Craft in Mysuru
Our office is right at 517, Dhanvanthri Road. It is usually a pretty crowded street with a lot of noise. We spend most of our time here looking at different samples and checking over things for any mistakes. Exporting is really just a lot of paperwork and making sure all the boxes are taped up correctly before they leave. We deal with handicrafts, mostly the small stuff that people make by hand in their own shops. It involves a lot of back and forth with the suppliers to get things right. Our office space isn't very large, so when a new batch of goods comes in, we are basically tripping over wooden crates for a few days until they get shipped out. We have got a couple of guys who help us with the heavy lifting and a lady who handles the ledger books. It has been this way for a long time. People around here know us as the ones with the big stacks of bubble wrap sitting outside the door. To be honest, it is a lot of hard work and not very glamorous at all. We do not do much advertising because we are usually too busy with the orders we already have on the desk. We like the neighborhood even if it is a bit loud. There is a tea stall just down the road that we go to twice every day. It is a simple setup but it works.
