Vyshali Creations

If you go down Hanumantha Rao Street, right near the Prabhu Theatre, you’ll find our place. Vyshali Creations is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s a small space filled with fabric, thread, and half-finished projects. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The noise from the theatre crowd is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We do a lot of sewing and designing right here on the long wooden tables. It’s not always neat; in fact, there’s usually thread all over the floor by the end of the day. We don’t have a fancy showroom for people to browse through. Most people just know us by word of mouth or because they saw the sign while going to a movie nearby. Our team is just a few local people who are good with their hands and don't mind the repetitive nature of the work. We talk, listen to the radio, and work through the piles of cloth. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to organize the drawers and clean the machines. We don’t use any complicated systems, just a simple notebook where we write everything down by hand. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us and our customers. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a steady one that stays busy. If you stop by, you’ll likely see us hunched over a machine or measuring out some material for a new order. We just keep doing what we know best.
