Vishwalatha Clinic

If you find yourself on S J Road in Hunsur, you’ll probably pass by Vishwalatha Clinic. We’ve been situated here in Mysore district for a good while now. Hunsur is one of those places where everyone seems to be heading somewhere else, but for us, this is the main spot. The clinic isn't very large. It’s tucked away on the road, and sometimes people miss the sign if they aren't looking closely. Inside, it’s just a basic waiting area and a couple of rooms where we see patients. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of our stuff is still done with pen and paper because it's just simpler that way for us. The traffic outside on S J Road can get a bit loud during the afternoons, especially with the buses going by, but inside, we try to keep things relatively calm. We see all sorts of people. Some are just passing through the district, others have lived in Hunsur their whole lives and we know their names. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. Most folks find us because their neighbor told them about us or they just happened to walk by while running errands. It’s a straightforward way of working. We show up in the morning, open the shutters, and stay until the last person is seen for the day. It’s just a local clinic doing its part on a busy road. Nothing fancy, just our regular daily life in Mysore. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the bricks and mortar of this street.
