Started doing this work out of our office in Hebbal a while back. Mysore is a quiet place most days but we stay busy enough with the projects we've got going on around town. Usually, the day starts with a quick check on the crew and making sure the trucks are where they need to be. We don't really do anything fancy here. It's mostly just planning out the roads or building sites and then getting the labor done. Sometimes the rain in this part of Karnataka slows things down, especially during the monsoon months, but we just pick up where we left off. It’s a lot of paperwork too, more than people think. My desk is usually covered in site plans and old receipts. We know the neighbors around Hebbal pretty well by now. People stop by sometimes just to ask about what's being built down the road. It’s hard work and the sun gets hot out on the sites, but it's what we do. We've been at this address for a bit and it suits us fine because it’s easy to get to the main roads from here. Nothing too complicated, just a small team trying to get things finished on time. We don't have a big lobby or anything, just some chairs and a water cooler for whoever comes in. Most of our time is spent out on the actual dirt anyway. It’s better that way. Every Friday we try to clear the backlog of bills so we don't start the week behind. It's just a regular routine for us.
