Shramitha Ice Cream Parlour

Our shop is at Joy Sport in Kavieri Nagar 1st Stage, over in Mandya. It’s a nice enough spot, though it can be a bit quiet on weekday mornings. Things usually pick up in the late afternoon when the kids are done with their activities. We have a good amount of space for the freezers where we keep all the different ice cream varieties. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and making sure everything is frozen solid. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and we have to scramble to get everything put away before it melts. That’s just part of the daily routine. The walls are pretty plain and we don’t have much in the way of decoration. We just wanted a clean place where people could get a scoop of ice cream. In Mandya, everyone seems to know everyone else, so we end up chatting with most people who walk through the door. We hear about the local news and what’s happening in the neighborhood. The 1st Stage area is a decent place to be. We keep a couple of benches outside so people can sit in the shade. It’s not a corporate setup, just a local business run by people who live nearby. We focus on the basics and try to make sure the shop stays tidy throughout the day. It’s a simple way to make a living and we like the people around here.
