We are actually opposite the Snake Park, which is a good landmark for people who haven't visited before. This is basically a recording studio where we handle all kinds of audio work. We have people coming in to record songs or maybe some voice-overs for different projects. The space is set up with all the gear we need to get a clear sound. It’s not some huge high-end studio like you see in movies, but it gets the job done for the local artists and folks around Mysore. We spend a lot of time sitting with headphones on, listening to the same track over and over until it sounds right. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped when a whole group comes in at once, but we make it work. The walls are soundproofed, so it’s pretty quiet inside even if it’s busy outside near the circle. We’ve had all sorts of people come through those doors over the years. It’s interesting to see what everyone is working on. We just focus on the recording and the mixing side of things. It’s a simple setup but we’ve been here long enough that people know where to find us when they have something to record. We mostly just drink a lot of tea and keep the microphones ready for whoever drops in.
