Our place is over in Gayathripuram, specifically at No.112 in the Nazarbad Mohalla area. We’ve been running Pramur Construction here in Mysore for a long time. The office is actually care of R. Sivanandan. It is a busy little spot, especially when we have a few projects going at once. We’ve got that ISO 9001-2000 certification from way back, which we still keep up with because it’s important. Most of the time, the office is a bit of a mess with blueprints and old files. We aren’t trying to be a big fancy corporation. We just focus on building things properly. My desk usually has a few tea cups on it and plenty of dust from the road outside. The traffic in this part of Mysore can be quite something in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We handle all the local labor and the materials ourselves. It’s a lot of coordination to make sure the bricks and sand show up when they are supposed to. Sometimes things go wrong, and we just have to deal with it. We’ve seen Mysore change so much over the years, with new houses popping up everywhere. We just keep doing our part, one project at a time. It’s steady, honest work that keeps us busy from morning till night. If you’re around the Gayathripuram area, you’ll probably see our trucks moving through the narrow streets now and then.
