Practice Love Foundation

We are based at D No. 685 GF on 12th Main in the C Block of 3rd Stage, Vijaya Nagar. It’s a nice part of Mysore to be in. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for anyone to just walk in off the street. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood is familiar to us. Inside, it’s a pretty basic setup with a couple of desks and some shelving for all the stuff we keep track of. Mysore has a slower pace than Bangalore, and we like that. It lets us spend more time talking to the people who come by. We don’t use any fancy systems or complicated software. Most of our records are kept in simple logs or on a basic computer. We spend our mornings answering emails and our afternoons meeting with folks from the area. The building is well-maintained but it’s definitely not a corporate skyscraper. We have some plants by the door that we try to keep alive, though we forget to water them sometimes. It’s just a small team of us. We aren't here to make a big splash or put up giant billboards. We just want to have a place where people can find us when they need to. The 12th Main gets some traffic, but it’s mostly just local residents going about their day. We’re glad to be a part of the local community here in Vijaya Nagar. The office stays cool enough even in the summer.
