Pediatric Clinic

Our Pediatric Clinic is over on Vinaya Marga in Siddarthanagar. If you are in Mysore and know where the Jss Public School is, you just have to look right across from it to find us. Being in the 570011 zip code means we see a lot of families, especially since the school is so close. You can often hear the school bell ringing or the kids playing during their break time while we are working inside. The clinic is set up specifically for children, so there are usually some toys scattered around the floor and some bright colors on the walls to make it look less intimidating. It gets a bit chaotic sometimes when three or four toddlers are all crying at once, but that is just part of the job. We keep a box of tissues and some basic supplies ready at all times. The building is older, typical for this part of Mysore, but we keep it as tidy as we can. We are just a small group of people who show up every day to see how the local kids are doing. There is no corporate office behind us. It is just a straightforward medical office where we spend our days. Sometimes we run behind schedule because a particular child is having a rough day and needs more time. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some plastic chairs and a few old magazines on a side table for the parents.
