I am Harish C.K., and I’ve got my diploma in architecture. I’m based right here in Mysore, Karnataka, in the 570006 zip code area. Mysore is a beautiful and calm city compared to Bangalore, and I much prefer the slower pace here for my work. I don't have a massive firm with dozens of employees running around. It’s mostly just me doing the drawings and the planning. My office is a small, quiet space where I can spread out all my blueprints and sketches. I’ve spent years learning how buildings come together, and now I just apply that knowledge day by day to help people out. The neighborhood is peaceful, which really helps when I need to concentrate on a design. You won't find any glossy brochures or sales pitches here. I just talk to people about what they need for their homes or small projects. Architecture is about more than just fancy shapes; it's about making things work in the space you actually have. I spend a lot of time visiting sites around the city, making sure things are being built the right way. The weather in Mysore is usually quite pleasant, so I keep the windows open while I work. I’ve lived in Karnataka all my life and I like serving the local community here. My training is technical, but my approach is very practical. I don't use a lot of big words or complicated jargon. I just try to do a solid job on every project.
