Goldline Books & Allied Industries

Goldline Books & Allied Industries is located over at 32/196 on Old Canara Bank Road in Yelwal. It’s not a huge place, but we make do with the space we have. The road is usually busy with people going about their business. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Yelwal over the years. The old bank isn't there anymore, but everyone still calls it that as a landmark. Our shop is tucked in there, filled with boxes and stacks of material. It gets a bit dusty with all the paper around, but that’s just part of the job. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure things get sent out on time. The floor is a bit uneven in the back room, so you have to watch your step. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the orders. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on this narrow road. We just do our thing every day. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We know where everything is, even if it looks messy to someone else. Yelwal is a good spot for us. It’s home. We stay busy and keep the lights on. That’s pretty much the whole story of this place on Old Canara Bank Road. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
