Coorg Spices

We've been running Coorg Spices for a while now, right here behind the Rotary Club near Poor Crossing on Mysore Road. It’s a busy spot but we like it because everyone knows where the Rotary Club is. Most days start early for us. We deal with all sorts of things people use in their kitchens. It isn't always easy keeping everything organized, especially when the big bags come in and the dust gets everywhere. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the stuff we have is decent. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us here making sure the bins stay full. Sometimes the traffic on Mysore Road gets a bit much, especially around the crossing, but we’re used to it by now. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we work with what we have. People stop by sometimes because they see the sign, or they're just heading somewhere else and notice us. We’ve got a rhythm down, from the morning coffee to the late afternoon when we start cleaning up. It’s hard work, and my hands usually smell like black pepper or cardamom by the end of the shift. That’s just how it goes when you work with these things every day. We don’t do a lot of talking about what we do, we just get on with it and hope the pile of orders gets smaller by evening.
