You can find us at 915 in Lakshmipuram, right across from the Ckc Convent. Bhagavathi Earth Movers is basically a small operation that deals with moving dirt and leveling land. We’ve got a couple of backhoes and loaders that stay pretty busy. The neighborhood knows the sound of our engines starting up early in the morning. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s necessary for all the new building going on around here. We spend a lot of time out on sites, so the office across from the convent is often just a place to park the gear at night. There’s a lot of dust involved in what we do. We try to keep the equipment in decent shape, but they get beat up on the job. Our team is just a few local guys who grew up around here. We don’t have any fancy brochures. Most people find us by word of mouth or by seeing our name on the side of a machine. We deal with all kinds of dirt and rock. Sometimes the ground is harder than we thought, which slows us down. That’s just the way it goes. We take it one day at a time, making sure the work gets finished. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it by now. Just people in Lakshmipuram doing a basic job. We don't expect things to be easy, we just get on with it.
