We are located out in Singapura Village, near the Vidyaranyapura Post. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, which actually works out well for us because we deal with natural food products. The air is a bit cleaner out here and we have enough room for our processing equipment. We started this because we wanted to work with the kind of food that doesn't have a bunch of chemicals in it. It’s a small operation mostly run by local people from the village. We spend a lot of time cleaning grains and packing things by hand. The facility isn't some high-tech lab; it's more like a large kitchen where we take things seriously. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we always get the orders filled eventually. We sell to a few shops in the city and some people come directly to the village to buy from us. It’s quiet work, mostly just the sound of the machines and people talking while they work. We don't spend much on advertising or fancy packaging because we think the food should just be good on its own. It’s been a few years since we set up here and we’ve slowly added a few more machines to help us keep up with the demand. It’s a decent way to make a living and we like being part of the community here. The local farmers sometimes stop by to chat or see what we are working on.
