B S Nagesh

I work out of the Akshaya Trade Tower on N S Road in Mysore. Specifically, I am on the first floor in suite No 694. It is a pretty well-known building in this part of Mysore, so it isn't too hard for people to find me. The office is where I spend most of my daylight hours, usually surrounded by books and ledgers. It is a bit of a climb up to the first floor if the elevator is acting up, but it's good exercise. My workspace is filled with the usual things you'd expect—lots of files, a computer that’s a few years old, and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. I don't believe in having a polished, corporate look. I'd rather have a space where people feel they can just sit down and talk about their business problems without feeling intimidated. Mysore is a nice place to work, and N S Road has its own energy. I see a lot of different people coming through the trade tower every day. Some are just starting out, and others have been in business longer than I have. I just help them with their records and make sure their filings are in order. It's not something that needs a lot of fancy talk or marketing. I just look at the numbers, do the math, and make sure the papers are ready when they need to be. It is just simple, practical work.
