Vasu Agarbathies is located in Hebbal, Mysuru. Our address is A/79 and we are right near Poojith Industries. If you know Mysuru, you know it is the center for making incense sticks in India. We have been making agarbathies here for a long time. The whole place has a very strong smell of different perfumes and resins. It is a scent that you get used to, though visitors always notice it immediately. We do not have a massive factory with robots. It is mostly a manual process where people roll the sticks and then they are dried and packed. It is a simple way of working that hasn't changed much over the years. Sometimes the weather is too damp and the sticks take forever to dry, which slows everything down. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us because they have used our products before and liked the quality. We get our materials like bamboo sticks and charcoal from local suppliers. We are just a small part of the big incense industry in Mysuru. The area around Hebbal is becoming more industrial lately, but our routine stays pretty much the same. We just show up, mix the scents, and get the sticks ready for packing. It is honest work and it keeps a lot of people busy in the neighborhood.
