You can find us over in the Aishwarya Complex, right across from the big water tank on High Tension Road in Vijaya Nagar 2nd Stage. It’s a handy location for people living in the colony who need to pick up things for their kitchen on their way home. We spend a lot of our time unloading crates of produce and making sure the shelves don’t look empty. The shop isn't massive, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. Early mornings are usually the busiest because that’s when the fresh stuff arrives and we have to get it sorted before the first customers walk in. We know a lot of the regulars by name and we usually chat about the weather or how the local traffic is getting worse. Sometimes the fridge for the dairy products makes a loud humming noise that we just ignore after a while. We keep a broom handy because there’s always a bit of dirt or a dropped leaf that needs clearing away. It’s a simple setup with a counter for the billing and some aisles that are a bit narrow when the shop is full. We try to keep things tidy, but when a big delivery comes in, there are boxes everywhere for a couple of hours. It’s just a neighborhood shop doing what it does every day for the people around here.
