Vasavi Motor Driving School

This branch of the driving school is located out in Hootagalli on the Unsur Mysore Road. It is right near Yashaswini Choultry, which is a big landmark most people know around here. The road outside gets pretty busy with trucks and people commuting, so it is a challenging place for students to start their very first lessons. We have our small office at No. 303. It is nothing special to look at, just a desk and some chairs where we talk about the rules of the road before heading out. Most of our day is spent inside the cars anyway. We teach people how to handle the gears and watch their mirrors properly. Every student is different. Some learn fast and some need an extra week or two of practice before they feel okay about the heavy traffic. We don't do anything fancy here. We just show up, take the cars out, and help people get their hours in. The weather in Mysore is usually okay, but the afternoon sun can get a bit much when you are sitting in a car for several hours. We see a lot of local faces from the nearby residential areas. It is a practical sort of job. People need to get to work or run errands, and they need to know how to drive to do those things. We just provide the vehicle and the time to make that happen. It stays pretty steady with people coming and going.
