We’ve been working out of Bogadi 2nd Stage in Mysore for a while now. Most people know us from around 4th Main. Building things around here isn't always easy because the weather changes quite a bit, but we keep at it. We spend most of our mornings checking on the guys at the sites and making sure the bricks and sand showed up on time. It’s a lot of running around, honestly. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes near the cross roads, which is always a headache to deal with. We handle the small houses and some bigger stuff too. Our office is just a simple place where we keep the blueprints and some old samples of tiles. People usually just drop by to talk about their plans or to see if we can fix something that broke. It’s mostly just us trying to get the walls straight and the roofs solid so they don’t leak when the rains come. Mysore is a nice place to work because you know almost everyone in the neighborhood. We don’t have fancy brochures or anything like that. We just show up, do the measurements, and get the laborers started. It gets pretty dusty, especially in the afternoons, but that is just part of the job. We keep the ledger books on a wooden desk that’s been here since we started. It’s not a big corporate operation, just a local team doing the work day in and day out. We just want to finish the job correctly so we can move to the next one.
