Sri Mantralaya Tours & Travels

We are tucked away over at No-12/A on the 1st Main Road, right near Kamakshi Hospital in the Tonchikoppal area of Saraswatipuram. Our office at Sri Mantralaya Tours & Travels isn’t much to look at, just a practical spot where we keep our keys and logs. Mysore is a busy place, and being here in Saraswatipuram means we see a lot of people coming and going from the hospital and the local houses. We started this because we knew the roads around here better than anyone else. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook and other days it is just us sitting here with a cup of tea waiting for the next booking to come in. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, it's just a few of us making sure the cars are clean and the drivers know where they are going. Tonchikoppal has changed a lot over the years but we have stayed right here on the same street. Our name comes from a place that means a lot to our family, so we try to do right by it. We handle a lot of different trips, some short ones to the market and longer ones out of the city. It's hard work keeping everything on schedule with the Mysore traffic but we manage it one day at a time. We don't use fancy computers for everything, sometimes a notebook is better for keeping track of who is where.
