We are located over at 99/B in the Railway Quarters near Loco Colony. It is a pretty quiet part of Mysore compared to the main market area. You can hear the trains every now and then, which is something you just get used to after a week or so. The office isn't very big, but it fits the few of us who are usually here. We have a lot of old files stacked up because we haven't quite moved everything to the computers yet. My desk is near the window where I can see the trees. It stays relatively cool here even in the summer, which is lucky. We start our day around nine-thirty. Usually, someone brings in snacks to share during the afternoon break. It is mostly technical work we do, looking at site plans and keeping track of materials being sent out. The building itself has that old government quarter look to it, nothing flashy at all. People around here know us as the guys who are always looking at maps and talking about cement prices. It is a steady rhythm. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites, so the office stays empty for a few hours. We leave the keys with the neighbor if a delivery is expected. It is just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized while dealing with all the small delays that happen in this business.
