We run Slv Cabs out of Jayanagar Extension. Specifically, you’ll find us on the 2nd Cross, 4th Main. It is a quiet enough residential area compared to the city center, which is actually quite nice for keeping the cars parked up and ready. We started this small cab business because people in this part of Mysore always seem to need reliable ways to get around. Mostly, we do local drops and some outstation trips if people ask us for it in advance. It is just a few of us making sure the cars are clean and the drivers show up when they say they will. Living and working in the 570014 area, you get to know the regulars pretty well. We aren't doing anything complicated or fancy here. Just driving people to the railway station, taking families to weddings, or helping out when someone's own vehicle is in the shop for repairs. Sometimes the traffic in Mysore gets a bit much, especially during the festival seasons, but we manage to navigate through it. We don’t have a big corporate setup with lots of computers. It is more of a local operation where we answer the phone calls ourselves. If you live around Jayanagar, you probably pass by our place often while doing your chores. We just focus on keeping the cars running and the schedules on track for the day. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
