Down here in the Hebbal Industrial Area in Mysore, we spend our days working on medical equipment. It's a pretty quiet spot compared to the big cities, which suits us just fine. We have units 15 through 17. Most of the time, the floor is busy with people putting together different monitors and imaging systems. We aren't trying to be the loudest company in the world, we just want the machines to work when they get to the hospital. A lot of us have lived in Mysore for years. We walk into the plant, grab a tea, and get to work on the boards and the casings. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the work keeps going. We handle the design and the actual building right here on site. It’s better that way so we can see what’s happening. Sometimes things break or a part is late, and we just deal with it as it comes. It's practical stuff. There’s no need for big corporate offices when you have a good workshop. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but it still feels like the same place it was when we started out in the industrial estate. We mostly focus on X-ray machines and stuff like that. It’s hard work, but it feels okay knowing these things help people get better. Most days are just about hitting our targets and keeping the quality where it should be.
