Shekar Lines Tourist Center

Shekar Lines Tourist Center is located right at Gandhi Square in Mysore. We are also close to Ashoka Road, which is a very familiar spot for anyone living in the 570001 area. Being in such a central location means we see a lot of foot traffic every single day. Our office is a basic setup where we handle all the tourist bookings and travel arrangements. It’s not a fancy place, just a room with some desks and a lot of registers. We have been working out of Gandhi Square for years now. The sounds of the city are always there in the background. We spend most of our time talking to people about where they want to go and how to get there. It’s a practical business. We don't use any high-tech systems, just the usual tools to keep things running. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when several groups arrive at once, but we manage. The staff here knows the local routes and the best times to travel. We see people from all over, some just passing through and others who stay for a while. Our location near Ashoka Road makes it easy for people to find us when they are out shopping or sightseeing. We just show up every day, open the doors, and get to work helping whoever walks in. It is a straightforward way to earn a living in the middle of Mysore.
