Saraswathi Enterprises

Saraswathi Enterprises has been at No. -1143/30 for as long as I can remember. The number is a bit confusing to some people, but once you find the building, you’ll see our small sign out front. We do a bit of everything here when it comes to supplies and general trading. It’s mostly just me and one other person handling the daily tasks. The office is small and usually has a few stacks of ledgers sitting on the table. We don't use many computers for the record-keeping because the old way just seems to work fine for us. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and I spend a lot of time watching the people go by when things are quiet. The floor is made of old stone and it stays cool even when it is hot outside. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They usually stay for a bit of a chat before they go. We don't really have a set routine; we just take the orders as they come in. Some days we are packed with work and other days I have time to fix the squeaky chair or clean the shelves. It’s a simple setup, and we like it that way. We don't need much more than what we have here. It’s just how we run things in this part of town, and it works well enough for us.
