Sahana Travels has its roots right here in the Giridarshinini Layout, specifically off T Narasimharaj Road in Mysore. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, though the road gets busy during the peak hours when everyone is heading to work. We have been operating from this area for a while now and most of the neighbors know us by name. It is not a very big operation, just a handful of vehicles and some drivers who have been with us for years. We spend a lot of our mornings checking the oil and making sure the seats are wiped down before the first customer shows up. Being in the 570001 area keeps us pretty central to everything going on in the city. We don't spend money on big advertisements because people usually find us through someone they know. The office is small and usually smells like coffee or incense in the morning. We try to keep things straightforward and don't make promises we can't keep regarding the timing. Traffic in Mysore can be unpredictable, especially near the main junctions, so we always tell people to leave a bit early. We like the work because we get to meet different people every day. Some are just heading to the station while others are going for weddings. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep the wheels turning day after day without too much fuss or complicated systems.
