Royal Inn

Over here on K.R.S. Road in Metagalli, things are a bit more relaxed than the middle of the city. We are at number 435, and if you blink, you might miss the turnoff because of all the trees and the way the road curves. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We have some rooms, a kitchen that smells like spices most of the morning, and a small team of us who handle everything from the front desk to the laundry. The building has been here for a bit, so it has its quirks, like that one window in the dining area that sticks if it rains. We spend a lot of time just talking to the regulars who stop by. Metagalli is an interesting spot because it’s a mix of homes and small businesses, so we get a lot of different people coming through. It isn’t some massive resort with a thousand things to do. Usually, people just want a place to sleep and a decent breakfast before they head out to see the sights or go to work. We try to keep the place clean and the fans working. When the sun goes down, it gets pretty quiet around here, which is nice. We just focus on getting the little things right, like making sure there's enough water and the sheets are fresh. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
