RARE SURFACES LLP

Rare Surfaces LLP is located at Godown No 2 in Industrial A Layout, Bannimantap. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We are over at No 1, and the space is mostly used for storing materials and doing the actual surface work. Being in Bannimantap means we are in a part of town that’s been around for a long time. The layout is mostly warehouses and small workshops, so there is always the sound of hammers or engines in the background. We spend a lot of our time on the warehouse floor rather than sitting behind desks. The lighting isn't always great, but we know where everything is. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect from a place that handles industrial surfaces, but it’s honest work. We have a small team of about five people who handle the day-to-day stuff. We don’t really do fancy presentations. Usually, if someone wants to know what we do, they just walk in and we show them whatever we are working on at the moment. It’s a very casual atmosphere. We might be having lunch together on some old crates one minute and then loading a truck the next. We just take things as they come and try to keep the business running smoothly without making things more complicated than they need to be.
