Quantity Surveyor

I’m Waseem Ahmed, and we do our quantity surveying work from 351, Hudco, 3rd Stage. This is in the Hanumanth Nagar area of Bannimantap, over in Mysore. The pin code is 570015. Mysore is a bit quieter than some of the other big cities in the state, and our neighborhood reflects that. We aren't in a big business park; we are just in a regular part of town where people live and work. The office is basically a room filled with blueprints, calculators, and a lot of pens. We spend our days going through every detail of construction costs, from the foundation to the roof. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a team of people in suits. It’s just us making sure the numbers add up. Sometimes the traffic outside can be a bit much, but once we get into the flow of the work, we don't notice it. We aren't into self-promotion or using big corporate words to sound important. We just do the surveying, provide the estimates, and help people understand what their building projects will actually cost. The desks are usually covered in drawings and coffee mugs. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth kind of place. We’ve been here in Hanumanth Nagar for a good while, and we’re happy to just keep doing what we do without any extra bells or whistles.
