Our place is at number 45 on the H D Kote Road in Srirampura. We are right near the Ring Road, which is very handy for getting out of the city quickly without hitting the city center traffic jams. It’s a good spot for a travel business because we can head towards the forest areas or the main city very easily. The office is just a small room we rented a few years back. It’s got a bit of a dusty floor because of all the heavy trucks passing by on the H D Kote Road all day. We have a few cars parked in the dirt lot next to our building. We spend a lot of our time washing the dust off the windshields so the drivers can see clearly. It’s mostly just a few of us drivers who work together here. We don't have a boss in a fancy suit or anything like that. We just check the schedule on a whiteboard and see who is going where for the day. Some days we are taking people to the airport in Bangalore and other days it's just a short trip to the market. We know the roads around here like the back of our hands. The Ring Road has made things a lot faster lately for everyone. We don't use any fancy apps to track our cars. We just call each other to see where everyone is. It’s a simple way of working.
