Nyt Cafe

Nyt Cafe is located at 24/7 on the Bangalore Mysore Highway, right by Sayyaji Rao Road. It’s a spot that sees a lot of travelers. Since we are on the highway, we see all kinds of people coming through at different hours. The road is almost never quiet. Much of our time is spent keeping the place clean and making sure there is enough food and drink ready. It’s a lot of work being in a location like this. The highway noise is just part of the background for us now. We’ve been at this junction for a while. It’s a simple building and we haven't done much to change it over the years. Preferring to keep things the way they are is just our way. The staff stays busy with the tables and the kitchen. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place to stop while you’re driving. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the fans are going all day. Other times it’s raining so hard you can barely see the road. We just keep the doors open and do our thing. There aren't any big speeches about what we do here. It’s just a cafe on the side of the road. People come in, they eat, they leave, and we get ready for the next ones. That’s the rhythm of Nyt Cafe. It’s a plain and simple life here on Sayyaji Rao Road. We just take each day as it comes and keep the coffee hot.
