New Ages Travels

Our place is at D No.116 on Dhobi Street, which is just off Deewans Road in Chamaraja Mohalla. It’s a pretty central part of Mysore, and we’ve been operating from here for quite a while now. The street can get a bit narrow and crowded, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We mostly spend our time arranging trips for people. It might be a short trip within the city or something longer to another town. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We are just here to do our work and help folks get a ride when they need one. The office is small and simple. We have a desk, some old chairs, and a calendar on the wall that we use to keep track of things. We know the local drivers and we know which ones are reliable. That’s a big part of what we do, just making sure everything is coordinated. Sometimes the phone rings all day and it gets a bit stressful, but mostly it’s just a steady flow. We’ve lived in Mysore for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the places where the traffic gets bad. We try to be honest about how long a trip will take. There’s no point in telling someone they’ll be there in ten minutes when the roads are blocked. We just take it day by day and try to keep things moving.
